I have no doubt about that anymore. When you make people think he is a foreigner who wants to destroy America, that goes over the line, and turns Obama into an abstract object to vilify, rather than a man. Or a President. Your recitation of slights perpetrated against Bush by radicals on the other side of the spectrum should act as the reason why you would denounce that sort of behavior. While people argued against Bush's legitimacy in the wake of the 2000 election, he was not systematically dehumanized. Dehumanizing someone is garbage.
